Detached Laser Box Architecture Creates New Packaging Freedom
One of the main integration challenges in EO systems is limited installation space. In gimbals, pan-and-tilt systems and stabilized payloads, the front area is often crowded with day cameras, thermal imagers, day-view optics, laser range finders, and additional sensors.
To address this, Ultisense fiber laser range finder modules offer the option to detach the laser box. The fiber laser source in the box can be separated from the sensor head and positioned elsewhere inside the host platform, wherever installation space is available.
