Precise Target Handover with Powerful Infrared Pointer

Transferring targets between troops during demanding missions is one of the most critical tasks on the battlefield. Our latest innovation, the advanced integrated pointer HP+ is designed to meet this challenge. E.g. with the powerful infrared pointer a soldier can precisely point to a target, allowing a teammate with a night vision device to exactly identify it for further synchronized actions. This simplifies coordination in critical missions.

Basic messages with pre-defined pointer frequencies

In addition, the new “Pulsed Pointer” feature enables exchanging basic messages through modulated beam pulses. For instance, a 3 Hz pulse can indicate a high-priority target, while a 10 Hz pulse may signal a low-value or compromised target. Such pre-defined frequency codes ensure that soldiers can swiftly and accurately communicate about target priorities and locations, even under extreme pressure.

Improved Pointer Visibility and Intensity

With superior atmospheric transmission at 850 nm, the HP+ pointer provides better visibility than traditional 830 nm systems and eliminates the risk of shifting close to the visible spectrum for extreme temperatures, where it might be detected by the naked eye. In addition, the high pointer output of 25 mW (Laser Class 3B) provides enhanced pointer visibility and intensity, which is perfect for pointing to a target in challenging environments.

Always perfect Alignment for Pointing & Measuring

Thanks to its coaxial design, the pointer exits the same fiber as the 1550nm measurement beam. This ensures permanent, and precise alignment with both the measuring laser and the system’s line of sight and delivers always highest pointer precision.
