Reduce risk with early testing

Early testing is essential to minimizing design risk and streamlining development. Verifying measurements, interfaces, and power behavior before committing to a host design helps prevent costly integration delays and redesigns. Ultisense facilitates this process with dedicated Integrator and Assessment Kits, as well as with the Ultisense Terminal Program.

Easy testing without coding

The included Ultisense terminal software offers easy access to the software functionality of the modules, allowing engineers to verify performance and communication without additional code development. Modules can be powered via the kit’s power socket or directly from a computer, removing the need for laboratory power supplies during initial stages.
Flexible testing of LRF & DMC functions
In the LRF Terminal software, engineers can conveniently adjust measurement parameters, such as operating frequency and other settings. With the DMC-pico Terminal software, e.g. engineers can view magnetic disturbances in real time. This enables to select the optimal DMC position in the host system with minimal magnetic interference before finalizing the mechanical design.

Choose the Right Kit for Your Integration Needs

Comprehensive Integrator Kits

Integrator Kits are powered by a USB port, or a standard power socket, eliminating the need for a dedicated adjustable lab power source.

Two versions of Integrator Kits are available:

  • Basic Integrator Kit (either for LRF or for DMC testing)
Includes an interface board with the necessary adapters and cables.
  • Advanced Integrator Kit (for both LRF and DMC modules)
This kit additionally includes a development board with removable jumpers for direct module signal access. This allows engineers to isolate pins, connect oscilloscopes, investigate non-standard serial communications, analyze timing, and diagnose electrical behavior during testing.
  • Assessment Kit
Smaller Assessment kits are also available only for the LRF 3019 or for DMC-pico. These compact kits are tailored specifically for each module and they also include the USB cable. They also contain the Terminal Program for LRF or DMC, enabling seamless testing and performance verification.
